Roger has just completed one movement of a collaborative new work for symphony orchestra for performance by the Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra in January. The Bergersen Quartet have recorded Multangularis for inclusion in a future release of contemporary music for string quartet. A new Jeremy Paxman series, Empire, is set to be aired on the BBC in the New Year and includes Roger's contributions to the soundtrack. The 2012 jubilee celebrations are the ideal time to try out Roger's Diamond Fanfare, a short overture described as "Bernstein meets Star Wars" by the conductor of the first performance. Roger is working with local students on a film music composition module as part of their A-level studies. Shout for Joy, All the Earth is a vibrant new anthem for chorus and orchestra, setting the text of Psalm 100. As part of BBC Music Nation that is taking place across the country in March 2012, Synthesis is to be performed in Southampton featuring saxophonist Rob Buckland and percussionist Simone Rebello.
